We are discussing Algorithms and Racisms, how biases have found their way into IT, supporting ongoing white supremacy.
I'll be speaking with Phil Hagen, Senior Instructor and co-lead of the Digital Forensics and Incident Response curriculum at the SANS Institute. He’s also on the Community Team at Red Canary, an Endpoint Threat Detection and Response company.
His experience in the information/cyber security industry spans more than two decades. He has served in the US Air Force as a Communication Officer supporting the U-2 Program and at the Pentagon. Phil has also supported information security, digital forensics, and incident response requirements for the DoD, Intelligence Community, Law Enforcement, and commercial companies.
He is also a classmate of mine from the Air Force Academy.
